The Tampa Bay Buccaneers kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET to face the Oakland Raiders, so we'll have to be content with the early games for the next three hours or so. Here's the list of early games kicking off at 1:00 p.m., and who you should be rooting for if you want the Bucs to get to the playoffs.
Arizona Cardinals at Green Bay Packers
Rooting interest: Go Cards! The Bucs trail the Packers by two games, while they're only half a game behind the Cardinals. Plus, the Cardinals are likely to collapse down the stretch, because Kevin Kolb and John Skelton.
Detroit Lions at Jacksonville Jaguars
Rooting interest: Go Jaguars! The Lions are tied with the Bucs, but have a better conference record, which means the Bucs lose to them on tiebreakers. Not good. The Lions need to drop a game somewhere, and why not do so against the Jaguars?
Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals
Rooting interest: Go Broncos! The Bucs face the Broncos this season, and a tougher strength of schedule is a tiebreaker way down the line. More realistically, you could root for the Bengals to improve the Bucs' draft position, where strength of schedule is the only tiebreaker.
Carolina Panthers at Washington Redskins
Rooting interest: Go Panthers! Carolina isn't going to threaten to make the playoffs at 1-6, while the Redskins are closer at 3-5.
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
Rooting interest: none! It's the Art Modell bowl!
Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts
Rooting interest: none! Rookie quarterback bowl!
Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans
Rooting interest: none! It's the...ehm...I dunno, Mario Williams bowl?
