The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have dodged a bullet with their one significant injury this week, as starting right guard Jamon Meredith is ready to go. The Tampa Bay offensive line has been hard-hit with injuries this year, but at least they won't have to go to fourth-string players to replace Meredith this week. O
ther than Meredith, the Bucs have no significant inactives. Running back Michael Smith is inactive again, meaning Arrelious Benn or Lequan Lewis will once again get the opportunity at kick returner. Cornerback Eric Wright returns from injury, while linebacker Adam Hayward fills in for Quincy Black, who was placed on injured reserve this week.
The Panthers appear to have no significant injuries.
Full inactives:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: RB Michael Smith, CB Danny Gorrer, S Keith Tandy, LB Najee Goode, WR Chris Owusu, DT Corvey Irvin, DT Matthew Masifilio.
Carolina Panthers: QB Jimmy Clausen, WR David Gettis, S D.J. Campbell, LB Jason Williams, OL Jeremy Bridges, T Bruce Campbell, DE Antwan Applewhite.
