The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have faced more and more injuries as the season progresses, which is pretty natural. Unfortunately, the offensive line has been hardest hit. And this week, a new injury cropped up, as right guard Jamon Meredith sprained his ankle on Wednesday. He missed Thursday's practice, but returned in limited fashion on Wednesday. The Bucs have designated him a game time decision, and they'd better hope he's healthy because otherwise they're down to their sixth(!) offensive guard of the season in the form of Roger Allen.
There's some good news too, though, as cornerback Eric Wright, wide receiver Arrelious Benn and safety Cody Grimm should be ready to play on Sunday. Wright's presence will be especially useful given the team's abysmal depth at cornerback.
Meanwhile, the only significant injured player for the Carolina Panthers is defensive end Antwan Applewhite, who will miss Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.
