In the wake of the trade of Aqib Talib, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have filled his roster spot by promoting defensive end Aaron Morgan to the regular season roster, according to Aaron Wilson. Morgan entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2010 and was with Jacksonville throughout his career, until he was waived earlier this season. He has three tackles in 11 career games.
The Bucs also added cornerback Danny Gorrer to the roster yesterday, claiming him off waivers off the Seattle Seahawks. Gorrer is a fourth-year player who entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2009. The 6'0", 185 lb cornerback has spent time with four different teams and was with the Seattle Seahawks most recently. With just 14 games in four seasons and five total passes defensed, he isn't going to be a major upgrade for Tampa Bay, but he will add a little depth to a depleted secondary.
