Matt Cassel will miss tomorrow's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs. While an important injury, that's hardly news. But the Chiefs have more issues on offense: Peyton Hillis and WR Devon Wylie won't play, while WRs Jon Baldwin and Terrance Cooper are questionable, as is RB Cyrus Gray. The Chiefs have an offense that leans almost exclusively on Jamaal Charles, and with that many skill players likely to miss the game they'll have to try to win on the ground against the Bucs' stout run defense.
That run defense may take a hit, however, as Roy Miller is listed as questionable after suffering back spasms during the week. Miller missed Thursday's practice and was limited on Friday. Miller has been crucial for Tampa Bay's run defense, and they'll struggle to stop Charles without him. Gary Gibson would replace Miller if the latter couldn't play. The Bucs have no other significant injuries.
