QB Freeman knows fourth quarter is 'superhero' time - NFL - Yahoo! Sports
I love that part of Josh Freeman's game. I just don't get why he can't be a superhero earlier in games, too.

Ex-Buc Brooks says consistency next step for young team | TBO.com
Consistency both within a game and from game to game is the hallmark of a good team.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lingering frustration with NFC South rival Atlanta Falcons - St. Petersburg Times
Hopefully they can take some of that out on the Falcons

Falcons have Buccaneers' number | Fox Sports Florida
The Bucs have lost recent games, but they were also all close games.

Rookie LB Foster will play all downs and wear helmet transmitter vs Falcons | tampabay.com & St. Petersburg Times
Foster is improving every week, but he's still adjusting. Calling the plays shouldn't be much of a problem.

Bucs ready to hand defense to rookie - NFC South Blog - ESPN
They're only handing over the defensive calls.

Bucs to give rookie MLB Foster more responsibility | TBO.com
Eventually he will have to learn anyway.

More talk about the helmet mic.

Bucs' Mike Williams drawing extra attention from defenses | tampabay.com & St. Petersburg Times
That's a pretty weak excuse. Every good receiver garners extra attention, but they don't let it stop them.

Head Downhill | Buccaneers.com
Legarrette Blount is a much better player when he follows his blocking and heads downhill, and that's exactly what he did in the second half against the Vikings

Grimm becoming Bucs' Mr. Reliable | TBO.com
I like Cody Grimm, but if Tanard Jackson returns and is in football shape he might find himself without a starting job before long.

Slow starts still an issue | TBO.com

NFC South QBs in shotgun formation - NFC South Blog - ESPN
Freeman has been in shotgun a lot because the Bucs have been playing from behind for nearly two full games.

O-Line Hopeful Running Game Success Carries Over | Pewter Report
The offensive line has been pretty decent so far this year, really. At least on their supposedly bread-and-butter power runs.

Bucs offensive line must make difference | TBO.com
The offensive line isn't the problem.

After Further Review: Big safeties a big problem in passing game - NFL - CBSSports.com Football
Pete Prisco makes a good point: big safeties are becoming outdated as pass defense becomes more important than run defense. Sean Jones is a perfect example of a big but slow safety who is losing his spot in the NFL. Cody Grimm could be much closer to the kind of player you will see at strong safety in the future.

Bucs Secondary’s Hands Full With Dual-Threat Falcons | Pewter Report
The Falcons passing game doesn't scare me. Roddy White is still their only legitimate receiver. Gonzalez could run wild against the Bucs' linebacking corps, though.

PFF gives us three matchups to watch.

Tight ends could have big impact on Bucs-Falcons matchup | TBO.com
It seems like we say this every week.
