In a couple of hours, we'll finally get to see the Bucs play a real football game. No more draft speculation, no more lockout agony, no more free agency frustration, no more preseason analysis: real football. The Bucs will take on the Lions in their season opener at Raymond James Stadium.
So, it's time to predict what will happen? Who will win this game, and by how much? Will the Buccaneers passing game take advantage of a weak secondary, or will it be stifled by a terrific defensive line? Can the Bucs run the ball after a very poor preseason performance? Can the Tampa Bay defensive line live up to its talent? Can Aqib Talib hang with Calvin Johnson?
So, predict the final score and the players who will have a big game on offense and on defense. I think the Bucs will win this game, but it will be a nail-biter. 23-20 sounds about right. As for players who will have a big game: Gerald McCoy and Kellen Winslow seem ready for some big performances.
What do you think?
