Free agency is basically done, and the Bucs aren't going to add many more players this offseason. We have a good idea of what the roster will look like once the season starts in a month. So, with all that in mind, it's time to give us your prediction. Will Josh Freeman take another step forward and get this team to the playoffs? Will a harder schedule and a difficult division limit them? Will players returning from injury play well and make this team better? Tell us what you think!
Hit the jump for the Bucs' schedule, and my own prediction.
To come to a prediction for this season, I simply estimated the Bucs' chance of winning each individual game, and added those chances. MNeilson explained that method last year in this story. In doing so, I ended up with an estimated 8.65 wins next season, rounded up to 9 wins. That means the Bucs will have a winning season, with a small chance of making the playoffs if they win the division.
Here's the schedule for next season:
- Detroit Lions
- at Minnesota Vikings
- Atlanta Falcons
- Indianapolis Colts (Monday Night Football)
- at San Francisco 49ers
- New Orleans Saints
- Chicago Bears (In London)
