Rick Stroud is reporting that the Buccaneers have cut WR Aundrae Allison, CB Ashton Youboty , TE Collin Franklin and WR Jock Sanders. In addition, FB Rendrick Taylor was nowhere to be found at practice according to Pewter Report, which probably means he has been cut as well. With G Brandon Carter tweeting that he had been released by the Bucs, we now know five of the ten roster cuts.
Throughout today and tomorrow we should see five more players being cut, and I have my own thoughts on who is likely to be cut. I wouldn't expect to see Alex Magee, Devin Holland, Detron Lewis and Mossis Madu on the roster tomorrow.
Of the players cut so far, Collin Franklin, Brandon Carter, Jock Sanders and Rendrick Taylor are eligible for the practice squad. All four could return to the practice squad at some point. Aundrae Allison and Ashto Youboty are not eligible for the practice squad.
