Today was the final day of training camp for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That may sound a little odd, but it's not exactly significant. The Bucs will simply practice without it being a 'camp' from here on out. Here are the notes for today's practice:
- Cornerback Anthony Gaitor was working with Micheal Spurlock, Jock Sanders and Preston Parker on punt returns.
- Legarrette Blount wasn't practicing because he was 'under the weather'. He should be ready to play against the Patriots on Thursday.
- Mike Williams has turned into a vocal leader in the wide receiver group. For all the character concerns that Mike Williams had coming into the draft, it seems he's entirely focused on being the best player he can be.
- Luke Stocker was working in individual drills for the first time since the beginning of training camp, in full pads. He probably won't be ready for Thursday's game, but should make it to the final two games of the preseason.
