Michael Silver claims the two sides are "closer to an agreement than many people realize - perhaps than even some of the people involved realize." Of course, Michael Silver is the same guy who claimed that talks were almost breaking down last week.

In this collection of notes, there's one tiny bit about the Bucs. It seems the Rams would like to contract Cadillac Williams, but not for a starting role. And they believe that the only way Caddy leaves the Bucs is for a starting role.

Pewter Report thinks Jeremy Trueblood returns to the Bucs, despite the fact that he could get some big money elsewhere (I don't think he can, honestly). I doubt the Bucs sign him as anything other than a backup.
