Continuing on with the list that has seen CB Rod Jones, WR Reidel Anthony and DE Gaines Adams appear on it so far, today the Buccaneer draft bust is Eric Curry. His career was actually pretty similar to Gaines' career, except it took him longer to actually leave the team. The 6th overall pick of the 1993 draft got off to a good start with 5 sacks in his first season, but couldn't match that total again. He would end his career as a Buccaneer with a total of 12 sacks in 5 years, but only played in 10 games in his last 2 season, starting none.
Fun fact: the Bucs could've drafted people like Willie Roaf, Jerome Bettis, Dana Stubblefield or Michael Strahan instead of Eric Curry. Another fun fact: after selecting Lee Roy Selmon with their 1st pick ever, the Bucs haven't drafted a great defensive end, well, ever. That had better change this draft.
The list so far:
10. Rod Jones
8. Gaines Adams
7. Eric Curry
