Despite having a week off, the Bucs' injury report is filled to the brim with players. Luckily only two injuries appear to be serious: DT Frank Okam's calf injury will keep him out of the game against the New Orleans Saints, while G Jeremy Zuttah's knee injury has not recovered well enough for him to play. With Gerald McCoy back, Okam's injury shouldn't hurt the Bucs too much. Ted Larsen will step in at left guard in place of Jeremy Zuttah.
Other than those two, everyone is listed as Probable. This means that S Tanard Jackson, RB Legarrette Blount, C Jeff Faine, LB Mason Foster, DT Gerald McCoy and WR Sammie Stroughter should all make their return from injuries against the Saints.
For New Orleans there are only two serious injuries to be noted: RB Mark Ingram will not play on Sunday, while LB Jonathan Vilma is listed as Questionable. Missing Ingram will really hurt the Saints' running game, as the rookie running back is their best inside runner. Chris Ivory has returned from injury and should fill in there, with Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles contributing as well.
If Vilma misses the game that will severely hamper the Saints' pass defense. Vilma hasn't had a particularly good year so far, especially struggling against the run, but he is one of the best cover linebackers in the league and a key cog in the Saints defense.
