Editor's Note: This was supposed to go up at 11:15 AM this morning. I have no idea why it didn't post.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that on Wednesday, they will introduce the second member to the Ring of Honor. The first entrant into the Ring was Lee Roy Selmon, whom the Bucs welcomed with the throwback jerseys and their first win of the year against the Green Bay Packers.
The announcement will be made at 2 P.M. and the candidates have not been announced. I think we can all come up with a short list of 5 or so players, coaches or front office members that deserve the award, but it remains to be seen who the Bucs will honor next.
Likely guesses? Tony Dungy, Ricky Bell, John McKay, Warren Sapp and John Lynch. While deserving of the honor, it seems that Doug Williams wouldn't be the logical choice given the recent fallout of his departure (unless this is an olive branch of sorts) and Derrick Brooks, who no doubt deserves every honor, but still hasn't announced his retirement.
Alright Buc 'Em, lets hear who you think deserves it and why.
