NFL owners vote to change overtime rules

The owners have voted 28-4 to approve the new OT rules for the postseason. This does not affect the regular season.......yet (voted on in May). The rules now state that it is essentially the first team to 6 points is the winner. Kick a FG on the opening possession and the other team gets the ball. Score a TD and its over. If both teams kick a FG on their first possession, it then becomes first to score. Sorry to bombard everyone with fanshots today, but it's been an eventful day for the NFL.
