Lets hope our opening day does NOT go like this. What a miserable game. We get gashed for a long TD run, then tighten up and play decent Defense the rest of the year. But our offense without Keshawn or Keenan, gave Brad Johnson no weapons to throw to. Rookie Michael Clayton would have a great year, but this was his first game, and future 3x 1000 yard receiver Joey Galloway pulled a hammy going for a TD, and would not show what hes got until the end of the season.
Tomorrows ON THIS DAY takes a look at a total opposite opening day, one where we scored the most points ever. Dont miss that one, its not often a Bucs QB throws 5 TD passes in a game. Can you guess which game/year/or team it is?
