Thanks to twrestlinga for breaking the news. (He got me at the gun, grrrrrrrrr; just kidding, good work twrestlinga).
The Bucs came to terms with UFA S Jermaine Phillips and TE Jerramy Stevens today. Terms have not yet been disclosed. I'm thrilled to have Flip coming back to shore up the secondary. No doubt he was missed last year after his arm injury and the safety play struggled as a result. I think Stevens will help round out the TE corps as the physical, mean blocker that Smith and Winslow aren't. He'll also create some matchup problems in the red zone. Also, WR Cortez Hankton was re-signed, who will likely compete for a 3rd or 4th WR position. All in all, a good day for the Bucs.
