ON THIS DAY VIDEO- 10/9/1983; 0-5 Bucs at 5-0 Cowboys. No contest right?

This was by far the most heroic game the 1983 Tampa Bay Buccaneers played all year long. They had just come off of a slaughtering at the hands of the Green Bay Packers 55-14, in which the Bucs gave up 49 first half points! Think its bad this year??

Tampa Bay battled back and forth lead changes with the Cowboys better than they ever had, and with 8 minutes to go in the game, James Wilder ran in the TD for a 24-17 lead. The Cowboys got deep into Bucs territory, and faced a 1st and ten from the Bucs 19 with 1:59 left and all three time outs. All the Bucs needed to do was make a stop right?
