You know from time to time I ask your opinion on Consumer Purchases. Most recently I asked about a Next Gen Video Game system and which route I should go. The majority said to purchase an XBox 360 and in the end I chose the Sony Playstation 3 (I'm happy with that decision). Now I'm coming to you for laptop advice... I've narrowed my selection to three companies: HP, Dell, and Gateway... Should I include any other company or specific laptop in my decision making process?
At this point I'm looking at a Dell Studio (1535), an HP Pavilion (dv6985), and Gateway (T-6836) all of which got pretty good reviews from CNet News. Here's the general specs I would be going for: Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T8100 (2.1GHz/800Mhz FSB/3MB cache); Video Card: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100; Memory: 3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2; Hard Drive: 250GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM).
Basically I'm just curious as to whether anyone has had any experience or trouble with the companies above: Durability, Support Services, Functionality? The hope is once I purchase a Laptop, that in turn will allow me to blog more frequently. At any rate, if you guys have a great laptop this is your opportunity to let people know about it... Also, anybody have a Verizon Wireless Network Card and is willing to admit how much they pay monthly for the service? I'm just asking, geez...
