Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Warren Sapp aka QB Killa to be in your living room via Showtime

New, comments

For those of you HBO Showtime subscribers out there; Wednesday Nights during the NFL Season just got a little more interesting for you. Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Warren Sapp will be joining the fellas on the set of HBO’s Showtime’s Season premiere of "Inside the NFL". Sapp joins analysts Phil Simms, Cris Collinsworth, and host James Brown.

Man I hate Chris Collinsworth and it has absolutely nothing to do with his ability as an analyst; his voice just irritates me. What’s worse is he’s ruined the Madden Video Game series for me. He’s going to force me to purchase a receiver for the living room so I can listen to music rather than his voice when struggling to pick up yards on the ground in Madden.

Back to Sapp, it should be interesting to see what he has to say about players, coaches, and owners around the league as we all know Sapp knows no filter. Does his addition make me want to pay for Showtime? No, but I’ll be looking for recaps of the show every Wednesday throughout the season. An interesting debate on the show would be whether Sapp deserves to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Speaking of the Hall of Fame, I should be able to roll out the second round of our Bucs "Ring of Honor" sometime next week, so keep an eye out for that. The options for "Ring of Honor" status are increasing the closer we get to present day, so it’s taking a bit longer than I thought.
