QB Brian Griese will START Today's game against the Patriots. - St. Pete Times
WR Joey Galloway, QB Jeff Garcia, and DT Jovan Haye are expected to miss today's game against the Patriots. - St. Pete Times
Despite a sore foot, TE Ben Troupe is expected to play today. No word on FB B.J. Askew. - St. Pete Times
The Bucs have already started trimming that 81 man roster down to 53 men. The first casualty? LT Luke Petitgout. I'm pretty shocked by this move and thats only because our depth is really lacking at LT specifically. This opens the door for Donald Penn, who was probably never going to give up his vice grip on the position anyway. Hopefully Jeremy Zuttah can fill in when needed. - St. Pete Times
Rather than allow Petitgout's roster spot to begin the descent to a 53 man roster, the Bucs have gone ahead and signed J.D. Runnels, a third-year fullback out of Oklahoma. I'm not sure what this says about Askew's ability to stay healthy... - St. Pete Times
Word is Patriots QB Tom Brady did not make the flight down to Tampa...
