From scout.com's list of the most agonizing losses in Jacksonville history & one of the 1995 Tampa Bay Buc's finer moments:
#9) 11/19/95 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers / 17-16: The Jaguars had fought back from a 10-0 deficit to pull to within 17-16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But the Jaguars decided to pass for a two-point conversion and it failed, and the Buccaneers held on for a 17-16 win.
This raises an interesting question
Sure, we always remember the tough ones (ST LOUIS!!!!!), but how about the games when we knocked the air out of someone. What games did the Bucs pull through when it really mattered to another team (and not so much to us)? When did the Bucs hold off an epic comeback? I am interested in the times when the Bucs delivered an agonizing defeat to someone else. Blowouts need not apply. Comment away and I will take your input to create a top-ten list to be released sometime next week.
