Buccaneers sign Safety Eugene Wilson or is he a Cornerback?

Adam Schefter of the NFL Network is reporting the Bucs have signed Free Agent Safety Eugene Wilson to a one year deal worth $1.8 million ($500k guarenteed). It's expected Wilson will serve as the teams replacement at Cornerback for CB Brian Kelly who signed with the Lions last week.

He's definitely not coming in to play Safety unless Jermaine Phillips or Tanard Jackson go down and Sabby Piscitelli has yet to become playing time worthy. This signing does present an interesting situation.. Do the Bucs take a Cornerback with their first pick in April's NFL Draft? Wilson is only signed for one year, so the Bucs could certainly spend that pick on a CB they don't have to rush into the fray... We shall see
