Tampa Bay Buc Cornerback Suspended for 4 GAMES

...UPDATE...

CB Torrie Cox is appealing the suspension ...

Tampa Bay Bucs Cornerback Torrie Cox has been suspended by the League for the first four games of the 2007 season due to violating the leagues substance abuse policy reports the Bucs Beat. Torrie has battled an alcohol problem since he's been with the Bucs. His problem has resulted into two DUI arrests.

At this point, Torrie can attend Training Camp and Pre-Season Games, but once his August 1st suspension comes into play, he won't be able to see the field until October 7th when the Bucs face the defending Superbowl Champs in the Indianapolis Colts.

Hopefully Torrie Cox can get a grip on his life. Its hard to watch an individual be consumed by alcohol. What a tough situation. His depth and Special Teams play will be missed.
