Warren Sapp dropped 50 Pounds this off-season, he now weighs 285. When asked by former NFL player James Washington at Mike Alstott's Celebrity Softball Tournament whether Sapp would like to finish up back in Tampa, Sapp said "We'll have to see."
Sapp on the upcoming season:
"I feel better when I wake up in the morning," he said. "It's a lot easier to get out of bed. Other than that, I just wanted to be in good physical condition to come into this thing and go. I looked at the schedule and we got to go to Miami at the end of September. I know what Florida weather is like. I'm going to spread the word because, if we don't, we're going to come out of there in real bad shape because Florida weather's nothing to be played with in four quarters of football."
I would welcome back Warren Sapp with open arms, but you might as well bring back RB Warrick Dunn and S John Lynch while you're at it. With that said, I don't see the Bucs bringing back Warren for nostalgia reasons.
