Keep your Eyes Open Buc Fans

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that the Atlanta Falcons are likely to do one of the following before Draft Day:

Scenario #1: Trade up with the Detroit Lions to secure the #2 Pick in the Draft and potential rights to WR Calvin Johnson.

The problem with this scenario is that the #2 Pick in the Draft does NOT secure your rights to Draft Calvin Johnson, you'd have to hope the Raiders and Al Davis draft the player they need in Russell and you'd have to hope the Bucs after being disgusted that the Falcons moved ahead of them don't trade with the Raiders for the #1 Pick in the Draft.

Scenario #2: Trade up with the Redskins for the #6 Pick in the Draft and for the rights to Draft S LaRon Landry

This to me is the safer bet of the two situations. No team is gonna trade up to the 2nd Spot for Calvin with Al Davis drafting ahead of you and furthermore Washington is said to want to move down and acquire more Picks since they don't have any 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Round Picks. Talk about a spectator in the Draft this year, whew!
