Thankfully QB Chris Simms is 100% healthy for the 2007 NFL Season, he even said as much:
"No question," Simms replied, answering that he could play a game immediately if needed. "I could do it right now. You could let [Brian] Urlacher go, and I could take one right in the chest right now."
That's why I feel a lot of fans (including myself) love Simms' work ethic. He's coming off a season in which, due to excessive hits, had his spleen removed and rather than curl up, the man is ready to take a hit square in the chest. You can't help but hope this guy can turn it around. I have nothing against Jeff Garcia, but deep down I'm pulling for Chris Simms. The guy deserves it.
