The Bucs Beat from the St. Pete Times is reporting that LB Shelton Quarles and CB Brian Kelly did not report to todays first Voluntary Workout.
I can't blame either veteran for not showing up. First off its voluntary and at this point in their careers they should both have a stern grasp on Gruden/Kiffin's play style, how to prepare, and not be expected to show for every event in the off-season. On that note, if Brian Kelly is avoiding voluntary workouts for contract reasons, then please get a grip Mr. Kelly, you were injured for all but 2 games last season. As for Quarles its been widely speculated that he has yet to be medically cleared to play, sooo I can't really get down on him for that.
At this point I don't even have to tell you that Cato June showed up eager and ready. He played Strong-Side Line-Backer taking the place of Ryan Nece. Someone else showed up eager as well, newly acquired DT/LB Patrick Chukwurah took recovering DT Simeon Rice's spot in the D-Formation.
