Its no secret the Bucs have their hands full in terms of competition today. The Saints have been one of the hottest teams in the Division despite losing to the Rams and Texans in consecutive weeks. Sunil from Canal Street Chronicles claims last weeks win over the Panthers may have been the Saints best performance of the year. That doesnt bode well for our Bucs who go into Sundays Match-up a little banged up........
QB Jeff Garcia practiced limitedly on Friday. I don't expect him to play... On one hand, it would be nice to have him out there with the possibility of sealing up the Division, BUT on the other hand, if he gets hurt, ITS ALL OVER . . . GUARENTEED. Garcia is the glue that makes this team stick.
Expect QB Luke McCown to start today, with QB Bruce Gradkowski waiting in the wings. The last time these two teams faced each other, the Bucs came away with a dominating win over the Saints. I dont expect a win to come as easy this time and wouldnt be surprised at all to see the Bucs get beat with QB Garcia on the sidelines. At (7-4) and (4-1) in the Division, if there was a game the Bucs could ever afford to lose, I think it would be todays matchup. Hopefully the Defense can help the Offense out once again and steal another Victory.
