Caption Contests
Caption Contest - Vote!
It's time to vote for the Caption Contest again, so go ahead and pick the entry you liked best!
Caption Contest!
Last week's Caption Contest was won by Jon Banks in a landslide. He came all the way from Canal Street Chronicles, so that's impressive. Here's the caption that won the day:
"I hate playing in the NFL. I get paid less than I did in college AND half the fanbase hates me."
So this week, we have a picture of Corey Lynch deciding to...well...I don't know what he's doing, but it isn't pretty. Think of a caption, post it, and rec the captions posted by other commenters you like.

Caption Contest - Vote!
The Caption Contest has now run for a couple of days, so it's time to see which caption you guys like best. The most-recommended captions are gathered in the poll below, so go ahead and vote!
Caption Contest!
The last Caption Contest was won by Landlubber in dominant fashion with the following caption
Clayborn: "1,2,3,4. I declare a thumb war."
Goodell: "haha, very good, congrats on...."
Clayborn: "I said, I. Declare. A. Thumb. War."
You think you can do better? Well, here's your chance. Post a caption for the above picture of Reggie Bush against the Bucs in the comments, and Rec the captions you like best. With Reggie Bush being a little sore about the drafting of Mark Ingram and T-Jack thinking he would look good in Pewter and Red, I thought this would be a good theme.

We asked you guys to come up with captions of Adrian Clayborn and Roger Goodell. The captions you recommended most are now collected in a poll below, so vote for the one you think deserves to win. Or just vote for another one, whatever floats your boat.
Caption Contest!
Here's something to pass the time while we all wait for football to begin again: a caption contest. We haven't done one of these in a while, and a time when absolutely nothing is going on seems like a good time for a caption contest. This time it's Adrian Clayborn facing off with commissioner Roger Goodell.
The rules are simple: post your suggested caption in the comments, and recommend the caption suggestions you like. We'll hold a poll with the most recommended selections in a couple of days to see which caption wins.
Caption Contest
Here is a great photo I came across of Raheem during the preseason this year. Sorry the caption contests have been so few and far between this year, but SB Nation's new policy of only using approved photos has really cut into what I have to select from. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for any good pics that come across the site and be sure to put them up for contests when I can.
Same rules apply as always. Enter as many captions as you like. Rec the ones you find humorous. Feel free to rec multiple captions. Which ever caption has the most recs after a couple days of voting is the winner. Let's try to refrain from using any explicit language and keep it PG-13 if possible. Other than that, feel free to write whatever pops into that brain of yours when looking at this picture.
Good luck.
Caption Contest
After a long season discussing minutiae we are once again on the cusp of Buc ball. I thought it was high time we got the caption contests up and running again. The rules are pretty much the same as last season with two key differences. One of them has nothing to do with you, and the other opens some new doors for our more creative users. The first key difference is that SBNation has recently made a rule that the only pictures to be used in our stories must come from their archive. I assume this is to avoid future legal troubles and obviously it makes a lot of sense. Thus I will no longer be able to select photos from all corners of the interwebz and the photos will most likely be quite a bit more tame than last season. It's all good though. We'll just have to work a little harder to induce laughter, but I'm sure the extra effor will be well worth it.
The second difference is that I have decided to allow the photo in the contest to be photoshopped this season. If you want to try your hand at this method, please feel free. Other than that, the rules are the same. Enter as many captions/revamped photos as you like. Rec the ones you like. Don't be a hater and not vote the other entries because you want yours to win. The top five most rec'd entries will go on to a 2nd round of voting in a poll format. The winner receives........ the honor of winning. Sorry, no prizes this year boys and girls. Keep it PG13 if possible. We want you to be funny, but not vulgar. If you have a question about whether or not your caption is acceptable please feel free to email me by clicking my name at the bottom of the page. Captions that violate the now looser and less restrictive community guidelines will be hidden without warning. With all that being said, go forth and be merry. Feel free to let your inner demon poke his head out of the cage, just make sure you still have a leash on him. There you have it. Go ahead and drop some knee slappers on us.
