My quick take bucs vs dolphins

Starters did what they were supposed to do. Yes we definitely need to generate more pass rush from just our front four but remember we are playing +90% cover 2 (vanilla defense) so qbs can get rid of the ball when they see the obvious shell defense before the rush can get there. Part of defenses greatness was to confuse the qb with the cover 2 shell presnap and mix coverages to make the qb indecisive and either hold the ball that extra second or make a critical error on the throw.

We really aren't doing any of that yet so no need to panic about our back ups on defense. Yes there was some issues but most importantly are they caught out of position and are they missing tackles. I didn't see too many of those issues last night.

IMHO Glennon wasn't bad this game. Yea there were some missed throws. From what I saw he had to protect the ball on some throws and other could be due to lack of timing or chemistry with the receivers. We know Mccown and Glennon are only going to be as good as their supporting cast. They will not carry the team. Glennon did lead that drive that Evans fumbled in the end zone with 1st team oline 2nd team rb and wr against 1st team dolphin d. I am really encouraged by his slight progression since last year.

Oline was better, and that's what I wanted to see. It's not a finished product of course but it's now moving in the right direction.

Side note: I did like the dolphins pass offense run by Tannehill. He executed some excellent shotgun play action, sort of reminded me of Tom Brady.
