What will defenses do to combat what Tampa has done on offense. You have two 6-5 receivers that tower over the average corner back. You have not 1 not 2 but three TE's that can catch the football and are pretty tall guys too. Then there is the speedy Robert Herron, Louis Murphy, and Jeff Demps, along with some others who will be alternatives in the passing game as well.
Many of you already know what we have with Doug Martin, though some have forgotten what a weapon he is because of this past joke of a season However now they have added another guy that can come in and keep Doug fresh all game. Charles Simms' resume says he is excellent catching passes out of the backfield, and not too shabby running it either. We are supposed to be going to a new zone blocking scheme, (but in reality every team does some zone blocking anyway) We seem to be getting athletic linemen who can get to the next level, instead of maulers to knock people off the ball. We have a new coordinator who may bring a little creativity and imagination to an offense that was so predictable, my little girl could have been successful at stopping it. So again, the question is....what would be your way of combating what the Bucs have done offensively?
