A Different Mock Draft

Just to let everyone know, this is my last mock draft. We have six days until the draft and I feel BamaBuc might go crazy with these mock drafts before then. That being said, here is my Mock Draft.

1st Round: Johnny Manziel QB

I do not know if the speculation is true or not and I don't know if he will even be their. However, I do believe that the Raiders are going to go after Mike Evans at #5. That being said, we might trade down and gain more picks but I think our pick will be Manziel. He is the most agile QB in the draft and his flaws are genuinely his size and his mechanics. Lucky for us, we have a mechanics guru in Tedford.

2nd Round: Donte Moncrief WR

I have his as our second pick because he is speed in space. If you didn't know, the Bucs used Jeff Demps as our slot reciever in camp a week ago and I think that is a hint to who we will pick. Moncrief is 6'2" 220 and runs a 4.40. He is one of the fastest WR in this draft.

3rd Round: Telvin Smith LB

Watching the Seminoles this year, I loved what I saw out of their defense. They had a line that could create pressure and linebackers that could hit the hole and stop a running back. Although I believe in Casillas to be our SLB, I do think Smith will be drafted to fight for that position and depth purposes.

5th Round: Trai Turner G

Yes, I waited this long to draft a Guard. With the people that were brought in for workouts, he was the only one with a private workout, for sure. He has some flaws like being off balanced and a little undersized can be coached. But with coach Smith wanting a "fast football team", Turner was the fastest guard at the combine and him being undersized points to a zone-blocking offense.

6th Round and 7th Round are up for discussion. We could grab a T.E. in Colt Lyerla or a FB in J.C. Copeland. Or CB Walt Aikens. Or P Pat O'Donnell. Let's just enjoy the next week of total confusion!

Also, tomorrow and Sunday I will be drafting for the Bucs for the annual 7-Round Mock Draft. So it might be a little interesting to see who we get.
