The Greg Schiano Update No One Asked For!!!

I was reading this ESPN rumor update about how Greg Schiano may join Belichick's staff. Most of us are aware about the man crash Schiano has for Belichick and vice versa but what I found interesting was this segment.

Furthermore, Belichick gave a push for the Cleveland Browns to hire Schiano as their next head coach this offseason, though that didn't work out.

"Bill Belichick and Urban Meyer were strong in recommendations for fired Tampa Bay coach Greg Schiano -- Belichick called twice -- and here’s where I hear there was a major rift in the [Browns] organization," noted SI.com's Peter King. "[Former Browns CEO Joe] Banner wanted nothing to do with Schiano. [Owner Jimmy] Haslam was intrigued with him after the over-the-top recommendation from Belichick."

What I got out of this is just by being alive, Schiano cost another man his job. AND Schiano still didn't get the job.

Tsk tsk tsk.
