After tallying the votes, the 2013 Bucs Nation Coach of the Year is RB coach Earnest Byner

What, did you think Greg Schiano was going to win? When you have your stud RB go down and his back up produce against a tough Seattle D, then you have done your job. But when you have said back up go down, and you get an undrafted free agent to look like a bigger Warrick Dunn, then you sir, are a GOD send. Earnest Byner's reputation as a coach has always been respected, but if you can say ANYTHING good about Schiano's coaching staff, you can say he did a miraculous job in luring Earnest Byner to Tampa. Byner completely turned around the backfield, as you saw guys using the skills he taught, as well as eliminating fumbles all together. He even made Erik Lorig into a more than decent fullback, especially since the guy came from a whole different side of the ball.

Byner sadly was a casualty of the Schiano elimination, and business is business. But I don't know too many people on the board that were happy he had to go. But I believe the impact and teachings of Byner will last in the Dougernaut, MJ and Rainey.
