Mason Foster's interception wins Moment of the Week

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be 0-2, but that doesn't mean we can't highlight a good play.

NFL.com has named Mason Foster's interception return for a touchdown the Moment of the Week. That seems pretty accurate to me, because that was the best return I've seen since Eric Wright's pick six against the New York Giants last year.

What really stands out is that it was a total team effort: as soon as the interception was made, the Bucs set up for a return to the sideline -- which is a big coaching point for Greg Schiano. Without his escort, Foster doesn't get close to the end zone. The Bucs may have lost in the end, but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate a great play like that.

Mason Foster deserves some praise himself, too. The linebacker has two sacks, one interception, a touchdown, two passes defensed, a forced fumble and 15 total tackles on the season. If he keeps it up, Foster may find himself in the Pro Bowl at the end of the season.
