Can the ole' Bucs Turn it Around?

High hopes were set this year for an on paper high powered team, those hopes are plundering as of right now as Tampa sites at 0-2 and seem to have a lot of tension in the locker room. Multiple reports surfacing of how Tampa players are "unhappy" and don't agree with the decision making of strict head coach Greg Schiano. Yes Greg Schiano the Head Coach Tampa finally found last year, as he seemed like he'd turn the organization around, is the very coach we are blaming this season. So what is wrong with our team you ask?

Quarterback: As big as a Freeman believer I was, it's not going to happen. In his contract season, needing to show signs of improvement Freeman, has not. A lot of people out there say give Josh a break he's young, well its his fifth year in the league with an experienced team and he still is not getting it done. Tampa gave him weapons, a run game, an O-Line, a defense, a coach and still no results. He's last in the league in completion percentage, thirtieth in yards per game, and thirtieth in quarterback rating behind many rookies on worse teams. Freeman is officially the source of our offensive woes. Often times showing frustration, or disinterest along the sidelines or during some plays his attitude is just terrible. Think about this, we are behind Oakland for passing yards... OAKLAND! I'm not saying his Bucs career is over just yet, but he needs to come up big, and come up soon.

Offensive Line: Our offense is the main focal point of whats wrong this season so far. Now with our experienced offense all-pro line we should be opening gaping holes for Doug Martin, but that is not the case. Often times in the Jets game Doug was hit before the line of scrimmage and had to fight just for one or two yards. The jets gobbled Martin up lets hope other teams don't do the same.

Losing Late: The two reasons for our loses is mental mistakes down the stretch. The Jets game we let the Jets drive on us because of penalties. Then in the Saints game we drove down and took the lead late only to miss a field goal to take the lead then let the Saints score quickly.

How We Can Turn Around? A balanced offense basically will win us games as the defense has been pretty spot on.
