It was just a year ago when Schiano took over this team and began pulling out all of the weeds. He got rid of all the crappy players and started rebuilding this team. He made sure when he was hired that he would have more power in the general manager position and acquire players that he desired. He made sure that all the money we had would start being well spent on great players.
It was just a year ago that we acquired Vincent Jackson, one of the great receivers in today's game who has helped out our offense tremendously. It was just a year ago we acquired Carl Nicks to go on the other side of Davin Joseph to beef up this amazing line. It was just a year ago that Schiano went out and asked for Doug Martin, Lavonte David, Mark Barron!!!
It was just this year that Schiano asked to go acquire Darrelle Revis and Dashon Goldson to help and make this secondary dominant. He also went out in the draft and provided depth to our team and acquired Johnthan Banks as well as other players.
Listen I am just as frustrated as everyone else is currently on how we lost these past couple games. Lets just remember that the Jets game, Lavonte David doesn't push Geno we are 1-0. The Saints game, if we make the same field goal we made last week we are 2-0. Also, everyone has to stop this "BS" about we should of thrown the ball or punted the ball. The run game was working well and if we miss the pass Brees has 2 minutes instead of one minute. Also, a field goal would be harder and even if we punt it he still has a lot more time.
Point being, this is Schiano's second year as our coach (and I understand you have to quickly be successful in the NFL or else you get fired!) he is doing his best to make these fixes. Undisciplined? That's "BS" just last year we didn't have all these flags and its the same team, this will be fixed. I hated the stunts as I know everyone else does, well guess what? They are working and we are tied in first place for sacks! He is creating this dominent defense which wasn't afraid of Drew Bree's on Sunday and he even helped bring in all the fans on Sunday's game and actually giving us a home field advantage. Like it or not Schiano put the organization in this position, remember it was just last year we were rebuilding and now look at the position we are in and everybody wants to kick him out? Give the man a little bit more time to make everything click!
