Josh Freeman has had a decent career so far entering his fifth season. Having his fair shares of rises and drops on a roller coaster ride. In 2009 he was tossed in at quarterback after an apparent failed season, playing in ten games throwing for about 2,000 yards and ten touchdowns, but eighteen interceptions. He had a season to forget and boy did he. Developing as a quarterback Josh has had his fair share of criticism, some saying that this year the Bucs should either sign Freeman, or trade him. Lets take a closer look at his career so far.
, since we already got his worst year out of the way we will get to his best. No one knew what to expect out of Freeman his sophomore year. Tampa came off of a 3-13 season and Freeman was just sort of tossed in for experience. I guess it paid off as the very next season Freeman led Tampa Bay to a 10-6 record and completely turned his game around. Freeman threw for 3,000 yards, twenty-five touchdowns, and only six interceptions. By far a better year for Josh Freeman and the Bucs. After the 2010 season analyst, and fans were ranking Freeman as a borderline elite quarterback.
, as I stated above Freeman was supposed to be elite in 2011, but as the fan-base knows...that did not happen in the slightest. A major recession for Freeman, and the Bucs. Tampa went from 10-6 to 4-12, and Freeman went from a 95.9 quarterback rating to a 74.6 rating. He also threw a career high twenty two interceptions. 2011 was certainly the second season to forget for Freeman.
, an up and down season for Freeman as he fired out of the gate hot, but his decision making went down the drain at the end of the season throwing seventeen interceptions on the season. Highlighting Freeman's negatives is a false representing of his season. Freeman threw for a career high 4,000 yards, and another career high twenty eight touchdowns. Now this season was Freemans middle of the line season. This leaves Buc's fans wondering up or down from here Freeman?
prediction, I predicted each game for Freeman and put together all the stats, Freeman will threw for 3,613 yards, twenty one touchdowns, and sixteen interceptions. Will this be a good enough season for Freeman to stay only the record will tell, which being a die hard Buc's fan I can't see the team doing better than 9-7. Will that be good enough? Maybe, maybe not.
