Darrelle Revis is currently on his way to Tampa for a physical examination, which should be the final step in a trade that has been months. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets have agreed on trade terms, while the Buccaneers have also reportedly agreed on a new contract with Darrelle Revis' camp. It's not yet clear what Revis will receive in his new contract, although it is widely believed that Revis is seeking around $15 million per year.
According to ESPN the Buccaneers will send multiple draft picks to New York, including their 2013 first-round pick, the 13th overall pick in this year's draft. Earlier reports suggested the Buccaneers would give up a third- and a fifth-round pick in addition to their 2013 first-rounder, although it wasn't obvious whether those later-round picks would come this year.
The Buccaneers have two fourth-round picks, one of them from the New England Patriots after sending Aqib Talib to join Bill Belichick in the middle of last season, and it would make sense to involve one of those picks in the trade.
