The Redskins signed EJ Biggers. That leaves the Bucs with Wright, Leonard, Gaiters currently on the Roster. Personally I think while Revis is Great, he is coming off the ACL Surgery and the Price will be too high - both in terms of compensation to the Jets and the Salary that he will command. It has been seen when a Team overpays a Player (Asoumough), then he gets released a few years later. A Salary of $15Mil for Revis could also disrupt the Locker Room. Now the Bucs have waited around and played Chicken with the Jets with no resolution any time soon. All the Top FA Cornerbacks have signed elsewhere. What is left is Asoumough, Grimes, Munderlan. Personally I like Asoumough - The Eagles played him incorrectly and just 2 Years ago he was the Best CB in Football. After the signings of the FA CB's he has to see that he will not be Cashing in Big, so I think the Bucs could sign him to a Incentive Laden Contract. Basically the same with Grimes coming off Achilles Injury. The Plus side of Asoumough is that the Eagles cut him so he would not count towards the Compensary Draft Picks next year. I don't think we can afford (in many ways) to wait on the Revis Deal and we need help. I would sign Asoumough or Grimes right now and if we Draft Trufant, then sign his older brother to Mentor him.
