In an unexpected move, the Tennessee Titans have released their veteran back-up QB Matt Hasselbeck. For a team like the Bucs, upgrading their own back-up QB situation would do much to salvage a potentially good season should Josh Freeman go down with an injury, or be removed for any other reason. Hasselbeck is a 15 year NFC veteran and more than capable of producing a win if called upon.
Would be a terrific upgrade over Dan Orlavsky.
