If Dom's words are true by saying he only wants the best and then strike a deal, then we should look for Elvis Dumervil today. He probably gets cut due a 12 million cap hit for 2013 and Elway is willing to part ways. If he becomes available, Dominik should hit the plane and go sign that boy. He's a Miami, Florida native and maybe that's a reason why he's willing to sign here. Also, he knows that the Bucs have the capspace and need to get him. 8 million a year is a good number for his services i believe. A true pass rusher who can get to the quarterback is what our defense is lacking of now Bennett is gone.
Now on to the other need. I have real good confidence that we sign Revis. Why? Because he is the best of the best and he is available and would fill a major need. Don't y'all think Dominik isn't doing a thing right now. He's bizzy dealing with those incompetent people in NY. I strongly believe that within a matter of time, we have both of these guys. Lock him up for 14 mil a year.
So that is 22 million a year in two players. Seems a little to much. No, it isn't. We have the capspace (24 000 000) as of right now, and if we cut Wright, and that isn't really an if, but more a when, we have 31 000 000 in cap space. So signing those two 'elite' players along with Goldson, we would have 9 000 000.
I see it happening. Hopefully today. Amen.
