The Indianapolis Colts have been busy early in free agency, as they've already signed four players. One of them is a player the Buccaneers were at one point reportedly interested in: former Arizona Cardinals cornerback Greg Toler. Toler's a tough, young cornerback who was solid but not much more than that. He would have been a decent number two cornerback, but he'll have to be that in Indianapolis now.
With Toler off the market, the Buccaneers still have plenty of other options. They're bringing in safety Dashon Goldson for a visit and he's expected to be signed as soon as tomorrow. The Bucs have also been linked with cornerbacks Brent Grimes, Sean Smith, Derek Cox and even Darrelle Revis. Whether that's just agents driving up the price of their players is something we'll have to find over the next couple of days.
