Stay connected for news and updates

Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

According to Pewter Report, Da'Quan Bowers has been released from jail after posting a $10,000 bond on Monday. His court date is scheduled for April 25, and assuming he's free to leave the state in the mean while it is entirely possible that this court process will not be finished before the end of the 2013 regular season. Now that he's out on bail it is enttirely possible that he'll be able to take part in all offseason activities, which means that he should at least be able to practice with the Bucs while he waits for the legal process to continue.

We've already written on the legal consequences of this whole ordeal, but we'll have some more details from a New York lawyer in a minute. The best way to follow this developing story is to check out our StoryStream, where all the updates will show up.
