Now, I don't know about you, but from what I have seen, Dee Milliner is a genuine first round cornerback. Unfortunately, the buck stops with him. There are plenty of options at corner... in the late first/early second. Also unfortunate for our Buccaneers, is that we're picking at 13. Now, I know this is a hasty option, but there are many teams after another lineman, and there are going to be an abundance of lineman available in the start of the first round. In fact, Yahoo Sports posted that 10 of the 11 best players are lineman. Assuming that there are a few selections, or reaches for Quarterbacks or whatnot, the chances are there will be a few quality lineman available at 13. Also, as a cornerback needy team, I think we'd be much better off trading out of a pick in the top 20, and hopefully pick up a decent variety of picks. (not saying that we'd be getting a great selection, but just a few extra ones).
Sure, you might be listening to this thinking "should we get another D-Lineman?" but the question remains: 'do you draft for need or best available?' I, for one, think corner is too great of a need and ideally, we'd look to draft Xavier Rhodes with a traded-down first round pick. What do you all think, what do you hope that in the event of a trade, we can pick up and who would you look to trade with?
