The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without safety Dashon Goldson (suspended) and middle linebacker Mason Foster today, as the Bucs take on the Lions in Detroit. Adam Hayward will get the start for Foster, while second-year safety Keith Tandy will take Goldson's place. The Bucs will have to figure out a way to stop Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush without two of their top defensive players.
The Lions see Nate Burleson return from a broken arm, which should further help their passing game. The veteran slot receiver hasn't played since week three, and the Lions have struggled to find a competent replacement for Burleson. Unfortunately, that means Micheal Spurlock of Tampa Bay legend will not suit up for the Lions. Running back Mikel Leshoure will also be out, while tackle Corey Hilliard will miss the game due to injury.
Buccaneers inactives (via Scott Smith): FB Lonnie Pryor, LB Mason Foster, G Patrick Omameh, G Carl Nicks, DT Gary Gibson and DE Steven Means.
Lions inactives: CB Jonte' Green, G Leroy Harris, T Corey Hilliard, DE Austen Lane, RB Mikel Leshoure, QB Kellen Moore and WR Micheal Spurlock.
