This post is solely how I feel, and slightly I hope the Buccaneers offense will change with the addition of the bye week and Mike Glennon. Now I know a lot of you will comment saying that our offense is dead, that Mike Glennon will not be any good and that our season is dead and all that crap. Quite frankly, I don't really care. I have come up with the decision of how I see my Bucs. I am well aware of the situation with Schiano, but the way I see it, I want the Buccaneers to win. I would rather us come back to win 5 or 6 games and have the >top 10 pick. Than us tank and have a top 3 pick. For those who would like the Bucs to tank. I think you should seriously consider your faith in the organisation and if you are a true fan.
So in short, I hope that Mike Glennon will show promise, get us a few wins and the Glazers give Schiano 1 more year (bring on the hate, I really don't care), and in saying that, this is how I view the offense changing.
- Schiano has said that he loves Jeff Demps, and that he want to get Jeff more involved. I hope that Schiano uses Demps sort of like a Darren Sproles sort of player. I have watched some college plays of Demps and I think if we use him in trick plays and as a backup/3rd down back to Martin. We could see some improvement to the offense, think about it. If we put Demps in the slot, the defense will have to account for his speed on the deep ball.
- Secondly, I hope the Bucs lay off Martin. That's it, we drafted 2 running backs, signed another and traded for one. All it takes is, use Leonard on short distance, Demps in shotgun or in dual backs.
- Finally, just give Mike Glennon confidence. Let him do what he does, we saw it late in the Arizona game, we need to trust him even though it may lead to a few more losses.
