I am a season ticket holder. After every game they send a survey. The survey is quick and mostly about the concessions. Usually it is sent out a couple of days after the game.
Not this time. This morning I got an e-mail for a survey (sent at 12:03 AM) - and the questions were revealing. While they started out asking a bunch of questions about parking, they then started asking questions about whether I thought the Bucs were on the "right track". Did I think ownership was engaged enough. How did the Bucs compare to the Lightning and the Rays.
I know something about corporate brands, and about customer satisfaction surveys. The questions they were asking had to come from ownership. In corporate speak, they were trying to measure if their brand had been significantly damaged.
If I am right, they were designed to evaluate the damage from Schiano. When corporations do brand surveys and get back bad news, change almost always results.
Here's hoping this survey is a predecessor to the firing of Schiano.
