The question isn't easy to answer. Right now, is it linebacker Lavonte David, who has had a great rookie season? Is it Ronde Barber, who looked rejuvenated at free safety? Is it Gerald McCoy, who finally had a full, healthy season and anchored the league's top run defense?

What about Vincent Jackson, worth every penny? Or rookie Doug Martin, who was dominant in some games, although he had a few games with less production, too? Or is it Carl Nicks, who missed most of the season but is one of the most dominant guards in the NFL?

And what about Madden? I haven't played it this year, but Kellen Winslow used to be ridiculously dominant. Third-and-long? Just throw it up to Winslow over the middle. Easy as pie. But now? Is it Carl Nicks? Vincent Jackson?
